Ashwin Srikanth

Ashwin Srikant was initiated into music by Sri. Mohan Ayyar and Smt. Sangeetha Ayyar in Sydney and continued his music education in the US under Smt. Hema Sista in the Bay Area. He was then under the tutelage of Kalaimamani Smt. Charumathi Ramachandran for 10 years, and is presently a disciple of Vidwan Sri. Ramakrishnan Murthy. 

Ashwin has been performing in the Chennai Music Season for over a decade in several prestigious Sabhas, including Narada Gana Sabha, Mylapore Fine Arts, Karthik Fine Arts, and Krishna Gana Sabha to name a few. Ashwin also participated in the Spirit of Youth Festival 2018 held at The Music Academy, Chennai. He has also performed widely around the Bay Area and across the US, as well as in Australia. He also won several awards at the prestigious Cleveland Aradhana including the Advanced Pallavi and the Concert Competitions.

Ashwin earned his Masters' degree in Computer Science from UC Berkeley, and recently moved to Seattle, working as a Sr Solutions Architect at Databricks. He has also been teaching students in both the Bay Area and Seattle for the last 7 years.
