Chetana Shekar

Chetana began her training in Carnatic Vocal and Violin under Sri.Raman Iyer in the Seattle area. Subsequently, she was under the tutelage of Sri.P Govindarajan (senior disciple of Sangeetha Kalanidhi M.Chandrasekharan) after which she was fortunate to come under the direct tutelage of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Kum. A KanyaKumari. She has performed around the United States and the Chennai December Season. She was recently awarded the Best Violinist by the Madras Music Academy in the Spirit of Youth Festival 2023
