Harini Ganesh

Harini Ganesh has trained in Carnatic music both as a vocalist and an instrumentalist. She was first introduced to the violin by her paternal grandfather Sri. Ramaiyer Subramanian at the age of 6. She then began learning violin under her first guru Sri. Rajesh Krishnan and is now receiving further advanced training under her current guru Shri B. Ananthakrishnan, Chennai. She has accompanied on violin for Carnatic concerts in the US and Chennai, as well as Bharathanatyam and Kuchipudi dance productions. She also enjoys composing music for dance productions at the request of the artistes for their special creative works. She is a member of the advanced ensemble of dancers in the Nartana School of Kuchipudi dance. Harini is a Junior at Oregon State University majoring in Computer science.
