Myan Sudharsanan

Myan Sudharsanan is a talented mridangam artist, who has been under the tutelage of Kalaimamani Shri. Tiruvarur Vaidyanathan for the past 13 years. A regular performer in Seattle, Myan has accompanied stalwart artists such as Vidwans Vittal Ramamoorthy, VVS Murari, R. Suryaprakash, Sandeep Narayan, K.S. Vishnudev, Palghat Ramprasad, Bharat Sundar, Sunil Gargayan, and Abilash Giriprasad. He has previously received advanced training from the late Guru Karaikudi Mani for Mani Paddathi, at the Cleveland Thyagaraja Festival in April 2019. At the same festival, he has won numerous prizes in both mridangam and konnakol. He has performed at other prestigious venues such as Narada Gana Sabha, Mylapore Fine Arts, Brahma Gana Sabha, Arkay Convention Center, Mudhra Fine Arts, and TTVV Trust, as well numerous venues across North America. Myan is currently a master’s student studying Computer Science at Washington University in St. Louis.
