Rishabh Kalyanasundaram

Rishabh is 11 years old. He is in 6th grade now. He started learning Mridangam in Sep 2020 from Kalaimamani Sri. Tiruvarur Vaidyanathan, starting with online classes and switching to in-person lessons 2022 onwards. His guru encouraged him to participate in the Cleveland Thyagaraja Festival in April 2023. Rishabh won the second prize in the Mrudangam junior category competition in the festival last year. 

In Aug 2023, he performed in his arangetram (debut concert) at Chennai along with various stalwarts of Carnatic Music. More recently, in the Seattle area, he performed for a Radha Kalyanam - 17 hours of performance over a period of 2 days. 

Rishabh is excited for this opportunity to continue learning Mridangam and to perform in various opportunities. He seeks your blessings to continue doing the above.
