Yashes Srinivasan

Yashes Srinivasan received his initial training in mridangam at a young age under Sri. Kalyan Vaidyanathan, a disciple of vidwan Sri. Kumbakonam Rajappa Iyer. He has since pursued advance training under Sri. N. Manoj Siva, disciple of vidwan Sri. Palghat Raghu. He has also received Carnatic vocal training from Sri. C.M. Venkatachalam. Yashes has accompanied several musicians across the USA and India, including in the Chennai music festival. He is currently a head and neck surgery resident physician at the University of Washington.
